We cannot change painful situations or traumatic experiences of the past, but we can work together to identify and heal old wounds, understand and resolve current life challenges and learn to live more consciously and mindfully in the present. As the quote says, “Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives.” Feeling more content and whole is possible!

My approach is holistic and mind/ body oriented. Most importantly, treatment is tailored to you and your individual needs. As a trauma specialist my approach is somatic, or embodiment based, as it is well established that trauma is stored in the body. Somatic-based treatment modalities that I specialize in are conscious breathing, embodied awareness techniques, mindful movement, and Trauma-Sensitive yoga.

I’m also a mindfulness meditation instructor, registered Yoga teacher, and a certified Trauma-sensitive Yoga facilitator.
